Originally the Holiday House, a historic hotel which opened in 1948 and hosted stars such as Frank Sinatra, Shirley Maclaine, Lana Turner, Marilyn Monroe, and John F. Kennedy. In 1983 Harvey Baskin purchased the Holiday House and renovated it, turning it into a beautfiul restaurant with panoramic views of the ocean. His goal was to redesign the space so that every table would have a view. In 1999 Baskin transferred ownership of Geoffrey’s to Jeff Peterson, the general manager who started out as a busboy 12 years earlier, amd had worked his way up the ranks to eventually becoming owner.
